Resistance Bands

I used to be scared of resistance bands; too many “funniest home videos” of people getting wacked in inappropriate places. However, I have gotten over that fear and now love incorporating this into my workouts.

You can have a full-body workout with resistance bands – think core, legs, arms, and cardio in a quick amount of time. I’m telling you after about 10 minutes you will be begging for a break.

Try doing tricep kickbacks, shoulder presses, bicep curls, squats and lunges. You will feel the burn throughout your entire body.

One very important tip is to store your band in a place where there is no excessive heat or cold and check for any cracks or breaks before you begin your workout.

For about $30 – you have your entire “gym” that stores away easily in a bag.
