I’ll be the first to admit I don’t spend enough time stretching after a workout. If I’m taking a class, you are forced into it, which is a plus. But when you are doing your own thing, it’s oftentimes missed (for me – unless I notice other people stretching and it triggers my mind).
What’s the top reason we don’t stretch after a workout? Maybe we’re tired, we’re running late, or don’t feel we need it. Well you do. It doesn’t have to be lengthy but in the long run it benefits your body and helps with the work that you just completed.
