Closet Troubles

I find that the more I workout, the more I want to buy workout clothes. My workout wardrobe has been expanding to immeasurable proportions. With lifestyle changes including fitness as a top priority, yoga for relaxation, spinning as a common verb and socialization taking place more in the gym than anywhere else – – it’s no wonder we have grown to have such a high demand for what we wear to the gym.

I remember when people would workout in the oldest clothes they had; not really caring what they looked like – after all, you were sweating and working out – not showing off. How the tables have shifted. I see more people in yoga pants today who don’t even know what a yogi is or who haven’t been in the gym in decades. It’s not surprising to see people wear their workout clothes out in the public.
